I'm Erin Kachmar, an artist and art educator working in Bayonne, NJ's Bergen Point. I work primarily on paper, exploring abstracted urban forms through ink, pastel, collage and watercolor. My process is intuitive and expressive. I search for essence rather than exactness. As an educator, I encourage the same - helping students align their eye, heart and hand. I offer in-home private instruction for curious creatives of all ages with an emphasis on observational skills, experimental drawing exercises and expressive mark making.
